Developing Your Creative Practice Award

I have been awarded Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice Award (DYCP).

I am researching opportunities for artists and scientists to work together to create new artworks that explore the effects of the climate crisis.

I am exploring the need for an independent visual arts commissioning agency in Devon by researching potential partners and opportunities across the region. There’s a concentration of climate scientists in Exeter due to the internationally-renowned Global Systems Institute located at the University of Exeter, the MET office in the city, and marine scientists working in the Greater Exeter and Torbay areas. Their research provides opportunities for artists to create new work in response to the climate crisis.
